Eligibility
for Admission: |

A candidate who has
completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December
of the corresponding year is eligible for admission. Date
of birth as recorded in the Madhyamik / 10th Standard /
School Leaving certificate issued by the concerned Board
of Education will be taken as authentic |

All candidates should appear
in the Joint Entrance Examination, conducted by the Joint
Entrance Board of Examination, Government of Tripura for
admission to this Medical College |

Admission will be as per the
merit list of Joint Entrance Counseling Committee
constituted by the Govt. of Tripura |

produced by the candidates. Regarding the eligibility of

Minimum
Marks |
|
The
candidate should pass individually in English, Physics,
Chemistry and Biology and obtained minimum 50% marks taken
together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in qualifying
examination. The candidate should also be in the merit
list of the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination Board with
minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken
together. In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled
Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Classes the marks
obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together
in qualifying examination and Tripura Joint Entrance
Examination be 40% (forty percent) instead of 50% as
stated above. |

Instruction

All candidates admitted must
remit the tuition and other fees on the day of admission
by way of Demand Draft / Cash. Request for extension of
time for payment of fee will not be considered |

For
Candidates opting to discontinue the study within a period
of one week of commencement of classes, 90% of tution fee
will be refunded, while 10% of the tuition fee will be
retained as administrative charges. Any candidate opting
out ofter one week but before one month, 50% of tuition
fee only will be refunded. After one-month period no
Tuition fee will be refunded. Other fees will be refunded
after proportionate deduction.
Candidates will be deemed to have withdrawn if he/she
remains absent for more than 30 days from the date of
commencement of the classes. |

As per the Medical Council
of India Regulations, the admissions will be closed by
30th September 2005. If any MBBS student discontinues the
studies after this period, he / she will be liable to pay
the tuition fee for the entire course. In such cases, the
transfer certificate will be issued and other documents
returned only after payment of tuition fee for the entire
course is made. |

Migration to and from this
College will be as per the guidelines laid down by MCI and
as amended from time to time. |

No Student shall report any
matter of the College and Hospital to the Press, Police
and Public without taking prior permission from the
Principal of this College. Every student must carry the
Identity Card duly signed by the Principal / Authorized
officials of the College. |
